Is there any benefit to registering a company in France?

I am British and I have moved to live in France recently. I have started a new technology company which is registered in the UK. Whilst I am working from my home in France, I am not earning anything in France and the UK company won’t turn a profit for some time.

Is there any benefit to registering a company in France?
Can I get access to health benefits in France for the family without registering a business in France?
