What is the most efficient business regime when working as a consultant in France?

I am about to move to France permanently. I will work as a management consultant. I currently expect two clients initially. One providing a fixed monthly retainer. The other will be performance based work only with no guaranteed monthly income. I expect the total income from two clients to be around 75,000 euros for the first year. I may have additional contracts from middle of next year. None of my clients will be French based.

What would be the most efficient regime for working as a consultant in this way?
What social charges and income tax would I expect to pay?
