What is your word for 2021?

For the last 2 years, I have been associating a keyword for the new year. This word has to summarise or define the spirit of my goals or a key thing that will carry me through the year.

In 2020, this word was "perseverance". Initially, it was meant to help me keep focused and work regularly on my business goals. But it turned out to be far more than this with the covid crisis... It helped me to remain focused by going back to basics. But also to keep going whatever was going on. Looking at my huge workload in 2020, perseverance was also important to help as many people as possible to get ready for Brexit.

For 2021, my new word is "Training" for 3 reasons.

  1. I want to deliver more live training to help you create, manage and develop your French business. I find live training more enticing and really look forward to starting working on this. Subscribe to my newsletter if you want to be informed first about my new online training courses and webinars.
  2. Training for myself! In 2020, I started investing in myself and my business, rather than keep learning everything on my own - autodidact style. This is something I wrongly stopped doing a couple of years ago because I was “too busy”. Taking some training has been refreshing and inspiring, so I'm also looking forward to diving into the training I *treated myself to* end of 2020.
  3. Fitness training... I've been more healthy in 2020, taking times to be kind to myself in tough times and making daily walks with dog Malco non-negotiable. Bring on 2021, it's time to put the trainers back on for weekly runs & pilate sessions.
