Auto-entrepreneur application?

With reference to our previous question SAS or auto-entrepreneur for a company in France, you said:

For the auto-entrepreneur, you will have to register with Chambre de Metier. They may charge 80 euros for registration and you will have to complete a compulsory one week training costing 180 euros.

Is it possible for us to sign up for this course before our registration has been completed, if so, where can I sign up for it?

We’ve submitted an application with Le Centre de Formalites des Entreprises de URSSAF regionale de PROVENCE-ALPES-COTE D’AZUR, they’ve received it and are processing it. Is there anywhere else that we need to register with, or once we receive our SIRET number from them are we ready to go?
