Will my husbands pension be included as income if we set up an auto-entrepreneur?

We are moving to France in July and want to set up an auto-entrepreneur to rent out the cottage next to ours as a holiday let. My husband will be taking early retirement and will receive a pension from his work. Should I put just my name down as the auto-entrepreneur as we could go over the limit that an auto-entrepreneur can earn Also we may be offered work back in Jersey, myself doing a few days training and my husband a month or so’s work, but again this is not definite. Would doing this work affect my / our status as an auto-entrepreneur.
