Will a commissioned market study help my auto-entrepreneur application

I don’t know much about the market for my services in France as a business and financial security appraiser. I am considering commissioning a market survey, but it’s expensive - about 2500 USD. What is your recommendation? Would it be better to make an educated guess based upon my knowledge of the U.S. market and plan to supplement the revenue with another service? Is the ANEF that flexible? I’m not thrilled about throwing money away if I don’t need it.
