Why have I been deregistered as an Auto-entrepreneur?

We have been waiting 12 months for our carte vitale and so have been chasing it up. The problem came to light when we visited our Hotel Impot, who then sent us to RSI and they told us we had been deregistered therefore we don’t qualify for the carte vitale, but nobody seems to know why. Any ideas?
