Why can’t I login to the auto-entrepreneur website?

I applied for auto-entrepreneur status online on November 30th. I was sent an automatic email which gave me a dossier number and password. It also mentioned that any missing details would need to be submitted. When I entered the dossier number, a screen was displayed with a green tick, which I understood to mean that I had provided all the details required. I also submitted an electronic copy of my id etc. Due to family illness, I have been out of the country for a few weeks. When I entered the dossier number today, it said that it was invalid. I know that I entered the correct number and password. Can you help explain this? Do I have to start the process again?
