Who is ChorusPro and why is it mandatory that we use them to invoice?

I recently received an email that it will be mandatory to use Chorus Pro to send invoices. As a micro-entrepreneur I am in the process of creating a website to sell objects on line and collecting delivery fees for local delivery of these objects. Do I need to incorporate this service into my website in anyway? My payments options are being set up via paypal and stripe.
