When to register for taxes in France

I’m British and moved to France late last year. As I understand, now I decided to stay, I will become a French tax resident for the year 2018 as soon as I’ve passed 183 days here. I haven’t registered for anything yet, because I wasn’t sure if I would stay the whole year. I assume I should take care of this asap - planning to set up as auto-entrepreneur - but do I need to do anything to account for the last few months I’ve been here and in limbo between UK & France?
