What to do about my failed auto-entrepreneur application?

I applied to the auto-entrepreneur system yesterday and received my rejection today. What can I do now, I applied to make machine embroideries and the reason given for the rejection was CFE pas compétent - activité artisanale. I am inactif, with a private pension, have joined CMU and just want to carry out my hobby, selling a few things without breaking the law.
I also sew and frequently have people calling at the house asking me to do small sewing jobs, I do these but don’t charge, because I can’t, although they always offer and I would prefer to.
