What qualifications do I need to repair bikes?

I have been running a successful cycle hire business for the last 5 years. My business is registered at the Chambre de Commerce. NAF 7729Z. I am often asked if I can repair bikes for other people. The Chambre de Commerce say that I can only repair my own fleet - if I want to repair other bikes I should register with the Chambre de Metiers. The Chambre de Metiers have told me that I need a qualification and that it would have to be a qualification to become a réparateur de cycles et motocycles but were not able to tell me where I could apply for such a course. It seems bizarre that I need to know how to repair motorcycles too. Does this sound correct and does anyone know what qualification I need? The Chambre de Metiers was not helpful.
