What is the impact on CPAM when becoming an auto-entrepreneur?

We have been living in France as early retirees for the last 5 years, and both have carte vitales and cover with CPAM. My husband is my dependant (I think) but we have separate social security numbers. We are in our mid 50’s. We receive income from savings in the UK and these are declared on our annual tax return. My husband is considering setting up as an auto-entrepreneur doing such things as plastering and rendering. This will provide us with some additoinal income.

By doing so does he have to leave the CPAM arrangement? More importantly will I also have to leave the CPAM arrangement? I know there is a box on the application form where you can opt to have your spouse included on the health cover, but if he elects not to include me, will I still be able to leave my arrangements as they are with CPAM? I do not want to change my own arrangements at all. If he leaves the CPAM arrangement what happens when the auto-entrepreneur business comes to an end?
