Me and hubby are a little confused, we have obviously been in a bubble and not keeping up-to-date with auto-entrepreneur changes. When my husband first started up as AE, in Jan 2009, he was advised that he would be exempt from paying taxe professional for the first 3 years. Now (as has everyone else) he has received a bill for CFE, 258,00e. Can you explain this to us please? Also, I registered as AE in Sept this year, will I also be receiving a bill? I am just about to declare my 1st trimester, it’s very very small, I only get 100e per month at the moment. I have also read of people opting out and paying 1%, please can you advise of this too.
