What do I need to modify my Carte de Séjour?

I am about to request a modification of my visiteur Carte de Séjour to visiteur-auto-entrepreneur, formateur d’anglais. I have an appointment already. When I asked what to bring, I was told it will be discussed at the meeting. As an auto-entrepreneur, I already have my SIRET number and am working, and am paying my taxes/securité sociale. I do not yet have a Numero de Securité Sociale or a justicatif d’affiliation of my Assurance Maladie for professions libérales from CIPAV or RAM. Are these essential for a modification of a carte de sejour? What attestations/ forms etc. are likely to be requested by the Préfecture? Has anyone been through a similar process?
