What could be the right bank for me?

I’m currently with Credite Agricole and not so happy. Recently I had to transfer money for an invoice to a German bank account and the transaction was stopped. I had to write an internal email to the bank manager, they had to register the IBAN of the receiver first and then I could make my money transfer. This is like stone age! 15 years ago I did money transfer with no question asked from my German bank account to a bank account in Nepal! Anyway, is there a bank in France where SEPA money transfer is as easy as in other European countries? Just insert the account number, PIN and off the money goes?
