What carte vital / social security number should I be using?

My husband and I had separate carte vitals for our first year in France. We both worked in the UK prior to our move over here and had our own E106s. Mine expired last January 2010 and I was added to his as a dependent. He still works in the UK and pays tax and NI in the UK. When I set up my auto-entrepreneur to start on the 1st August 2010 I put my old social security number on the declaration. Should I now be using my own when I visit the doctors or the pharmacy? I have been using his up until now.
