What are the legalities to operate a food business in France?

I set up a company in France 4 years ago, under the auto entrepreneur system that prepares and delivered home cooked food to people staying on holiday. Is there any way that I can check as to what activities I am covered for on my scheme. I declare my turnover every 3 months and automatically pay my charges. I also have public liability insurance. I operate from a professional kitchen that was built by me 3 years ago. I have tried to find if there are any legislation or legalities that I need to do to operate a food business but when I spoke to the equivalent of the health and hygiene department they could offer me no information other that operate through common sense. Are there any procedures that I should be following?
