Using the auto-entrepreneur portal to register a gite?

We arrived in France last August 2016. I am looking to register as a micro-entrepreneur gite business so we can apply for a carte vitale. We are early retirees and so not able to join the social system (easily).

I went through the portail-autoentrepreneur.fr (not sure if I chose the correct options). When choosing the tax options, we did earn over 26,642 euros for the last two years. What options are available for us? What should I tick?
