URSSAF said no to my application

I submitted my auto-entrepreneur application to URSSAF. I used an iPad and it didn’t function correctly on the section about previous non-salaried work. I could only answer no although I was a gerant of an SARL for 25 years. I have received an email from URSSAF saying that I do not qualify as I am the gerant of an existing company and have to choose between being an auto-entrepreneur and a gerant. No explanation was given as to how to choose. I got this on Friday and thought that there might be a follow up letter, but so far nothing. In fact the SARL of which I was gerant was liquidated by the courts in 2007. I notified URSSAF at the time. I then moved to England and spent four years there. I moved back to France at the start of the month. The activity that I want to start as an auto-entrepreneur is completely different from my previous activity.

So what do I do now:

  1. Do I submit a new application with the relevant section completed correctly?
  2. Do I wait for them to send me a written document?
  3. Do I go to see them with proof of the company’s liquidation?
