URSSAF bug - Not possible to declare Micro Entrepreneur turnover from abroad

I’m sharing this feedback from Shirley, which could come handy.

Context : Shirley had been trying to declare her February turnover for a few weeks.

Problem: She was in Taiwan at the time and it looks like you can’t complete your turnover declaration from abroad. She asked a friend based in New-York to try, same problem.

Solution: She asked a friend based in France to handle the declaration for her. She guided her friend over zoom.

- Ful story:

1) Access appears to be geographic (outside France).

There has been widespread user reporting since January/February that the URSSAF Auto-Entrepreneur login has been malfunctioning. I contacted the official URSSAF helpline but they weren’t able to resolve it (they suggested it might be linked to Apple devices - it was not). I tested across multiple devices and browsers (Apple and non-Apple, mobile and desktop) with the same result: the Auto-Entrepreneur lognin page remained blank.

What I eventually discovered is that login seems to fail when accessing from outside France. I’m currently in Taiwan and could not log in; I also asked a friend in New York to try and she could not log in either. In the end, I arranged a quick Zoom screenshare with a friend who is in France, and she was able to log in using my credentials and submit the declaration for me.

2) Backup measure: document compliance via URSSAF messaging.

As a precaution, I also opened a case through URSSAF and documented the situation, including my monthly revenue, before the deadline. The aim was simply to leave a dated record demonstrating my intent to comply, in case any late-declaration penalties were triggered due to the platform issue.

Overall, URSSAF wasn’t particularly responsive ahead of the deadline (to date, my two messages did not receive a reply), but I’m relieved to have found a practical workaround.
