Une apostille selon de pays de naissance

I received a letter from RSI, they are requesting:

Et une copie d’une piece d’identite recto’verso de preference delivrees par les autorites Francaises (cart d’identite, passeport, titre de sejour etranger, visa long sejour valant titre de sejour).

I can make a copy of my titre de sejour for them? For the apostille are they just requesting a translation of an official copy of my birth certificate? I have that already. Or are they asking for something official through the apostille procedures at the state department. When I send the copy of the documents, should I put a signed certification on them that I certify that they are copies of the originals?
