Timing of first quarterly declarations?

I closed down my micro entreprise last year and opened as an auto-entrepreneur in May of this year. I have just had my first Declaration trimestrielle de chiffres d’affaires and the date for the limit for payment is 31/10/2012. This would be nearer to 6 months than 3. Should I question it?

Also, as a micro entreprise my cotisations were based on 50% of my declared earnings. I notice from this latest form that it’s 100% of my earnings that are subject to a tax of 21.3%. If I earn the required amount would I also pay Income tax on my earnings in addition?
