Thrown out of auto-entrepreneur scheme, based on a assumed turnover?

I have started my auto-entrepreneur business on the 15th of November 2010 and declared (via my accountant) a turnover of 14,526 EUR for my first quarter. I now received a letter from the RSI, stating that my declared turnover for 2009 is 91,420.00 EU, and that they have therefor cancelled my auto-entrepreneur status.

There is no way I will reach the threshold of 88,000.00 per year, as the article I am selling is seasonal (fur collars). The main sales of the year were before Christmas, hence the high turnover in my first six weeks. During summer for example, I don’t expect any sales at all. I contacted my accountant, and he explained that the 91,420.00 EUR figure represents the assumed turnover for the first business year, based on the figures I provided for the first quarter. He said he will write to the RSI, but that in his view there is very little chance that I will be allowed back into the auto-entrepreneur scheme. None of this makes sense to me, have you heard of this before?
