Tax number

We are finally moving into our new house (from rented flat). We will need to advise the tax office of our new address but they ask for my tax number. Can you tell me what I am looking for in the paperwork that is the tax number bearing in mind that I haven’t yet completed a tax declaration. Presumably the SIRET number is different.

Supplementary question - can you think of any other official organisations that need to be informed of the new address?
