Talent Passport, Regulation of Business Valuation, and Business Ideas

Hello Valérie,

I’ve started the course with the intention of applying for the Talent Passport – Business Creator, with my husband Joe accompanying me as my spouse. We don’t yet have a French bank account or property. The business, at least so far, would be a consulting practice in business valuation for American clients and American expats

1. How do clients without a French bank account deposit the €30,000 before the K-bis? Revolut Business and Shine (anns other online vendors) are listed on your resource list. Do you know which work for non-residents and if possible to make the deposit prior to k-bus?

2. If this is an issue, as you mention in your videos, would it be reasonable to start with the profession libérale visa and switch to the Talent Passport after about six months in France? Is that switch realistic?

3. How can we tell whether business valuation is a regulated profession in France (Business Valuation)? Is there an official list or authority to check? does it matter if I only service and invoice American citizen clients?

4. Which route is more reliable overall for someone arriving without a French bank account or property?

5. Our long-term goal is a bike retreat, with bike fitting, bike mechanics (both of us trained) and assembly for shipped bikes, guided tours and shuttles. We are both bike mechanics, and the retreat is not yet started. Would it be more appropriate to base the visa application on this idea instead of the consulting practice? Which parts (lodging, guiding, shuttles, selling packages) would need qualifications or registration?

Thank you,
Esther
