Switching from Auto-entrepeneur to another entity

I hope you are doing well. I would like to ask you a question regarding business entities in France; my main collaborator from the US wants to establish a permanent relationship with his company and work in something resembling an employee for him. Since I am located in France, I think that the most feasible solution would be to create some company and receive the money from him, right? However, in that case, I suppose I should switch my regimen from micro entrepeneur to something else, right? Do you have any ideas? Thanks a lot.
