Still trying to make it work in France

Hi my wife and I would both like to make France our permanent residence. We both work in the UK as management consultants and would like to continue this work. We also have two properties in France we would like to let for holidays.

So my question is can we relocate to France continue to work in the UK, but be taxed in the UK and then pay tax on our holiday lets in the france.
