Singer as auto-entrepreneur?

Is it still the case that a singer cannot be an auto-entrepreneur? I have an existing auto-entrepreneur business but have been offerred some paid singing work. The intermittant du spectacle regime looks a nightmare to operate under and I’m hoping not to have to go down this route.
