Should I send a cheque for 2nd trimester declaration?

I just declared 2nd trimester income online. URSSAF did not automatically take the amount I owed for the first trimester despite my having signed up and sent in appropriate forms for prelevement automatique. That led to an avis amiable with majoration for non payment. I was told on the phone that they did not execute such orders for the 1st trimester. Following that conversation I submitted the montant a payer via cheque.

Should I assume it will work this time round, or should I send in a print out of my declaration with a cheque to cover amout due?
