Should I choose EURL or EIRL status for website business?

I am presently working - but have decided to go for a rupture conventionelle in order to start my own business in France. This business would be a website platform - developed and maintained in India by a vendor. Most of the revenues (at the first year or so would be generated in India). I would like to register my business in France since I will then be eligible for unemployment benefits for entrepreneurs.

  1. Keeping all the above in mind, I am thinking of registering my business as an EURL (entreprise unipersonnelle à responsabilité limitée). Or should I register first as an auto-entrepreneur and then switch to EURL?
  2. I would have a bit of travel expenses to India to visit the vendor, so I am assuming I can claim my travel costs as expenses?
  3. Should I look at EIRL (entreprise individuelle à responsabilité limitée) option too?
