Should I change the type of business I have registered in France?

My business in France is set up as a BIC regime reel simplfie. My turnover has not been as high as I initially expected as I haven’t worked as much as I thought and this is likely to continue for the next few years. I’m registered for TVA under MINIREEL but with a turnover of around 25,000 euros I’m not sure that this is wise.
Despite me having expenses (higher this year as it’s my first year) I’m wondering if I should drop down to the micro-entrepreneur business setup - what would you advise? How would this affect my business so far? I’ve made no declarations yet, and I’m at week 50 of my first year trade. I have paid my RSI contributions, so far amounting to 3,758 euros.
