Should I be applying for ACCRE?

With my husband’s auto-entrepreneur application they have asked if he is asking for an ACCRE. He is applying under les autres travaux de finition / petit travaux de brico. I see that there is an exoneration of some cotosations but I don’t really understand if he should request it or not. What are the benefits and drawbacks?
