Should a gite be registered at chambre de commerce or metiers?

I know new regulations have come in saying certain business activities in France need to be registered with either the chambre de commerce or chambre de commerce or metiers, but who do gites come under? I am registered at the mairie and by my taxe de sejour, just want to make sure I am not missing out on any other form of regulation.
