Setting up a e-commerce business in France

So we are two Non-European recent graduates with a Masters degree from a French university and are currently on the APS visa. We have a business idea for an e-commerce business. For the moment we don’t think we will need any physical assets, so it will be mainly operated from home/office. However, hoping everything goes great we want to expand and hire more people and have at least an office/warehouse to work from. Though, to start off, can we start trading with only having the APS visa, or do we need to change the visa and to what? As well as, do we need to be registered as a company? What are the income thresholds for each visa type?
