Second home declaration

We are french residents since 2004.

We have 2 properties one is our primary residence. We have a second home in France that we are renovating to serve as a holiday home for ourselves. We currently pay taxe d habitation on this property as maison secondaire. We don’t pay taxe d habitation on our primary residence
My question is do we still need to make a decleration on impots.
