My wife and I are planning to start an SARL, to provide a legal base and a tax efficient structure for our incomes. We both work (mostly) for a single client foreign company as consultants in the field of telecommunications. I receive a UK pension 4,500 per year. My wife has no other income. Main activities include the provision of engineering services such as design prototyping and also sales and marketing.

The design prototyping involves specifying and purchasing specialised components, and building customised sub-systems. The sales and marketing involves the promotion of services and managing sales activities for the client. The buying and re-selling of components is a growing part of our business. We wish to expand this to a wider range of clients using the new SARL. Turnover estimates are in the range 50,000 euros to 100,000 euros per year.
