Im looking at buying a business (fonds de commerce) in France with a rental agreement (bail commercial) that was renewed 2012. I would like to understand the risks I run losing the rental contract.
The business in France is a hotel and thus completely dependent on being able to continue in the same property for its existence. Can the landlord:
- Terminate contract and ask us to leave?
- Raise rent until the business cannot continue?
- Sell the property for other use?
- Other risks?
