Reimbursement from RAM only 30%?
I received my Carte Vitale a couple of months ago but had not registered with a doctor. I went to register with the doctor 27th August, while I was there he also gave me a prescription as I need to see another doctor for a problem with my feet, I paid the 23 euros for the consultation and he used the Carte Vitale in the machine. I posted the ‘declaration de choix du medecin traitant’ straight away to Ram with my RIB.
Today I have received a statement from Ram along with a cheque for 6.90 euros which is only 30 per cent and not 70 per cent, I thought that you got 70 per cent of the charges back from Ram. The only thing I can think of is why I have been refunded a lesser amount is because I had not sent the ‘declaration de choix du medecin traitant’ form to Ram to prove that I had registered with a doctor before I went to visit a doctor but I am not sure if this is the case or not.
I am not sure what to do now, does this mean every time I visit the doctor I only get 30 per cent refunded from Ram, do I have to fill in any more forms to get 70 per cent, which everyone else seems to get. Will be grateful for any help you can give me.
