Registering as an auto-entrepreneur with health cover?

I’m trying to register as an auto-entrepreneur (prof lib), but unsure re Section 7. My husband and I came to France from the UK with (separate) forms E106, so each have a Carte Vitale from CPAM. He’s not yet working; I’ve started. Since we haven’t paid yet into any social security organisations, I’m not clued up. Is the number on my CV my Social Security number? My husband has a CV, so I have ticked the box oui to say that he is covered by a régime obligatoire d’assurance maladie. Is that correct?

Under Assurance Maladie I have ticked the box régime général, is that correct, i.e. CPAM? Choix de l’organisme d’assurance maladie des travailleurs non slariés: I naively assumed I would put RSI here, but other forum posters talk about other Caisses, so perhaps I’m not understanding RSI’s role? If I need to choose between other Caisses, how can I find out my options? And does URSSAF contact the chosen Caisse, or do I? If me, do I need to do that before auto-entrepreneur registration or later?

Personnes demandant à bénéficier de l’assurance maladie du declarant: should I be putting my husband in here? Since he has his own CV, I’m unclear about the pros and cons. I started work on 1 January 2010. Are there any consequences of being this late? URSSAF knows, as they had to send me a paper form (the on-line form only works for start-ups within the previous month).
