Registering a second ME activity

I am registered as a microentrepreneur, working as a coach.

I am now going to do 50/50 coaching and gardening.

I had advice from someone at the Marie. He said to register gardening as a 2nd activity, as ‘service aux personne jardinage et petit bricolage’ with URSSAF. He said it was very important to ADD it as an activity to my current enterprise, NOT set up a second enterprise. I need to have everything with CAF, not CAF and MSR, apparently.

He said that it should be my primary activity, and coaching secondary, as I’m gardening more hours than coaching at the moment.

1. How do I register gardening as a second activity with URSSAF? I have tried online and just gone round in loop after loop. I ended up on INPI, which the advisor had specifically told me not to register via, as it would then be separate to my current microentrepneur rather than just an added activity. Online though it seemed that this was the only way to do it - URSSAF just redirected here. I then couldn’t get any further as I needed a franceconnect+ account apparently, and it seems the only way to do this is to go to a post office. I went to the admin support session they offer in the local town weekly and they couldn’t help at all. Any advice on this process would be hugely appreciated.

2. Does it really matter which is primary and which is secondary? I think I will probably have periods of doing one more than the other then switch around, dept on the season. Is this an unnessecary complication?

3. I would like to be able to charge for the gardening both via ME or via CESU, depending on the clients preference. Is CESU something you can offer advice on?

4. Do I need to do anything else when setting up the gardening as a secondary activity? Do I need insurance or to regiser with the chambers of commerce etc.

I’m a little confused by all this, so not 100% Im asking the right questions, or using the right terms - the meeting at the Marie was very confusing. Please let me know if anything is unclear or if I have overlooked anything,
