Registering a regulated trade as an auto-entrepreneur?

My wife has a auto-entrepreneur business cleaning but it has been unprofitable and now my renovation is nearly finished I am considering registering as an auto-entrepreneur. I have been trying to research the best approach but many sites seem to contradict hence joining your site.

In the UK since 1989 I have worked self employed in the building industry doing many different trades to a high standard. The problem is I don’t have all my papers here and the main profession I wish to register is joinery, but I have no qualification. I do have training bricklaying and building but can’t locate all my qualifications. I do have many pictures and old accounts for a long period or my working life. I wish to work in my workshop making bespoke items including: windows, doors, shutters, etc. Also installing some furniture items when requested. I would also consider selling home produce such as legumes, Ouefs etc. and some laboring work.

1. What categories do I register?
2. Is there another registration for making wooden products?
3. Does this affect our carte vitale as I am a covered on my wife’s card?
4. Would it be better to cancel my wife’s auto-entrepreneur or to keep both?
