Registered as a carpenter - can I start working now?
I registered with the auto-entrepreneur in early Feb as a carpenter (Menuisie). My date de prise d’activity was 18/2/2010. I have received my SIRET number and have arranged professional insurance, but have heard nothing from the Chambre de Metiers regarding validation of my professional qualification. Am I legally allowed to start working now?
Secondly, I have had a look at the video about paying my quarterly charges. This was for future reference only as my declaration date is not until June. I noted that my maximum allowable income per quarter is a pro-rata percentage of the annual limit, i.e. 8000 euro per quarter. With a mid Febuary start date, is this figure further reduced? It’s unlikely that I will exceed the limit in my first quarter, but I’d like to know exactly what I can earn to avoid being bumped into the next regime.
