Register chambres d’hotes in my husbands name or mine?

My husband is in receipt of an army pension and a 20% disability pension aged 54 years. We wish to start a small chambres d’hotes (to register in his name only) and wonder whether he needs to disclose this as an income when registering as an auto-entrepreneur? Or, is better for me to register instead for the business as I have no income additional income?
