Received 2000 € bill from ag2r La Mondiale

Hi. When I registered I received a certificat d’adhesion from AG2R La Mondiale but correctly worked out that it was for future employees and if I didn’t have any there would be nothing to pay. Fast forward 6 months and you can imagine the shock and horror to receive a bill from them for € 2247.43. Apparently I’d missed the bit where you needed to declare you have no employees and they have estimated it. Not that I’d have been able to declare online anyway - you need a French social security number and that only arrived last week - but I digress. I’m I right in thinking that simply writing to them and saying ‘pas de salaries’ will be enough to resolve this or is there anything else I need to do?
