Questionnaire Issues
I have questions regarding the questionnaire I received from Direction Generale des Finances Publiques. First, I assume my tax year should end Dec 31 to keep things coordinated with my US taxes; is that a good idea? (Sorry for lack of proper accent marks on vowels here; my French keyboard is loading very slowly.)
Second, in Section 2 it asks me for the name of my accountant. Do I need to identify one immediately?
Third, in Section 3 I’m asked about the premises used for my business. Do I use my domiciliation address or my rental apartment? I needed to identify my rental apartment in order to activate my Wise business bank account, but Qonto allowed my domiciliation.
Fourth, also in Section 3 it asks whether I have “domiciliation commerciale” or “domiciliation a titre gratuit;” confirming the first is the one I should check?
Finally, I’m asked “Si vous etes louer en meuble, precisez la nature du local loue.” Are they really asking me about my personal residence in this question, or do I defer to my domiciliation? This questionnaire seems like a seriously mixed bag of questions. And I’m perplexed by the lack of questions by others here regarding it. Does everyone receive it, or am I just lucky?
