Provision of accountancy services in France?

I am a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and own a UK registered company that provides accountancy and taxation services to UK resident clients. I now live in Brittany, where I am registered as an auto-entrepreneur for the provision of Chambre d’Hôtes. Whilst I live for most of the year in Brittany I carry out important parts of my work, in particular visiting clients and my director’s duties, in the UK. Whilst in Brittany I perform accountancy work on the computer and communicate using the internet.

In addition to the work I perform in France for UK based clients as described above, I now wish to assist UK taxpayers who live locally to me in Brittany to complete their UK taxation returns etc (I shall not be assisting them with their French tax returns). My understanding is that as a member of the ICAEW I can provide the proposed services in France. I am proposing to charge my UK registered company as an auto-entrepreneur for all my French time costs. This will mean that I pay social charges in France for the work I perform here and I will just pay myself a salary from my UK company in respect of work that I perform in the UK.

Subject to any problems that you might envisage with the above I intend visiting the Chambre d’commerce and ask them to add an APE code to my registration for my accountancy services.

Please could you tell me whether you see any problems arising from my proposals and also confirm what information I will need to take with me when I visit the Chambre d’commerce?.
