Person one: Piano Teacher. Person two: Holistic Therapist.

We are civil partners moving permanently near Toulouse this year from the UK. My partner is a qualified piano teacher. She will teach privately at home and away, also looking for accompanist work, getting involved with local community, schools to offer her skills in preparing stage performances, school shows etc., also looking at jobs in schools as a piano teacher. She will also be able to offer her services to students preparing for music exams. So quite a versatile piano music services on offer. She will want to work as self-employed. She is already registered as one in the UK. Would the best option for her be to register as auto-entrepreneur and profession liberale with URSSAF? Is this the best option in terms of paying taxes and other contributions?

Person two: UK qualified holistic therapist. I provide swedish body massage, aromatherapy massage, indian head massage and reflexology to private clients and will also look at working in health, sport centres etc. Are these regulated professions in France requiring some medical qualifications? In the UK I can perform my treatments without having any medical background. I understand that in France it is a different matter. Someone has suggested that I should register my services under category of providing beauty services rather than therapy or massage and this way I may be able to practice? Any thoughts on this?

I will also want to register as auto-entrepreneur. Under what category will my profession come? Where should I register? What taxes will I have to pay? Or would it be better and possible at all to register both of us under one SARL providing music and beauty services? Or is this completely a silly question?
