Paying tax as micro-entrepreneur?

We have a holiday home in France which we have built over the last 15 years and which we visit on a regular basis. Over the next five to ten years my wife and I plan to move to France permanently. In order to start this process I have set up as auto-entrepreneur business with the Chambre de Metiers in August 2015. I have been making my quarterly returns to the RSI. But I have heard nothing from the French tax authorities. Who should I contact?

I split my time between the UK and France. I work part time in both countries. In the UK I have a part time contract and I am also self employed in the UK too. I pay UK tax and National Insurance on both those activities.

Since registering as auto-entrepreneur last year I have spent 20 weeks in France. I am likely to spend a similar time in France in the forthcoming year. The time spent in France is around UK school holidays. I run my business in France during these periods. My wife has a full time job in the UK. My principal home is in the UK. Will I need to declare all my UK income in France?
