Paid work and entitlement to health cover?

I have read that by working for 60 hours in 1 month or 120 hours in three months and earning 60 or 120 times the SMINC can give you entitlement to health cover. Please can you clarify this? I am tax resident in France, early retiree 58 and my E106 just run out. I am currently in UK working as a supply teacher for three months. Could this help me claim continuation of health cover?
